Healing At The Root

What is Coherence Therapy?

Coherence Therapy is a powerful form of experiential therapy that aims to get to the root cause of symptoms. The process seeks to uncover deep, unconscious emotional truths—mostly picked up in childhood—that are actively driving the need for symptoms to arise. These emotional truths, once adaptive, now drive patterns of behavior and unwanted symptoms. Through a process known as memory reconsolidation, it becomes possible to unlearn these deeply held emotional beliefs, leading to lasting and permanent change.

Coherence Therapy is a non-pathologizing approach. This means your symptoms are not seen as disorders or diseases, but as perfectly coherent adaptations—protective responses that once served a vital purpose. Every symptom is meaningful. It reflects an underlying emotional truth that made sense at the time it formed. This is profoundly freeing and opens up space for true healing to occur.

About me

My journey into the world of mental health began as a meditation teacher for one of the largest mental health organizations in the world—HealthyGamer. For three years, I worked with thousands of people across the globe, helping them cultivate calm, presence, and equanimity. My background is in Mahayana Buddhism, and I use various tools from that tradition to help people overcome things like rumination and anxious thinking.

After years of being a mindfulness teacher, I trained under someone I believe to be one of the most gifted psychologists working today—Dr. Tori Olds—in experiential forms of therapy such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), and, of course, Coherence Therapy. It was through this training that I fell in love with Coherence Therapy. I decided I wanted to specialise in CT, which led me to the Coherence Therapy Institute for official training.

Aside from that ,I am also a qualified secondary school teacher and former semi-professional athlete (Sprinter). I am deeply passionate about meeting people in their area of struggle, and together, finding a way through to lasting healing.
